What is a popular fad diet? Well, fad diets are by definition weight loss programs that guarantee great results in diminutive amounts of time and are popular for a small period of time. So popular fad diets are actually those that catch on to a worrisome level. Why worrisome? Because fad diets are not weight loss programs that work. Everyone who has ever went through a fad diet knows that it does not work, most people actually had bad experiences with them and everyone should have heard at least someone saying that these are a threat to your health. The reason why they do not work is because of their very nature. Your body is very complex and has specific procedures embedded into it is very genome that regulate the chemistry reactions going on inside. When you hit it with one of these popular fad diets, like the cytric diet your body thinks there must not be anything else around to eat if this is all that I am getting. I should reduce the burnings and conserve as much energy(stored in fat cells) as I can. And that is exactly what it does. No burnings. No weight-loss. Not a weight loss program that works. Why Your Diet Fails? On the other hand, it can not produce something from nothing. Most fad diets eliminate one or more of the basic food groups, or prescribe excess amounts of another. Both are just as bad. If you are not feeding something it needs, the functions that are based on those burnings to happen will be impaired. If you are cutting out anything that contains zaharoze(natural sweetener found in fruits), burnings that provide instant energy will dwindle out. If you stop eating meat of any sort, protein supply will drop and this will impair focus and concentration. The starving yourself to death diets are the worst. Your body is designed to sterilize any food coming in. This is done by clorhidric acid that is found in the stomach, that is being generated constantly. If there is nothing in your stomach, this acid attacks the walls of the stomach and starts eating away through them small holes. These holes are what is called stomach ulcer and the implications of this disease are horrible, in some cases direct surgery being needed. You Can Lose Weight Opposed to popular dad diets, weight loss programs that work combine a healthy eating style with a doze of exercise. The truth people do not know is that each body is a specialist at burning away certain types of food. The more of that you will give it, the more efficiently it will run. Exercise steps in by accelerating your metabolism and burning away more calories , that is why you lose weight when exercising. Doing both things at once produces spectacular results not seen in fad diets and the best part of this is that it is sustainable. Remember, sports are pleasant relaxing activities. Everyone is good at one or another, and you do note ven have to guess it. You already know what you are good at. If you ever thought of doing a sport you already know what you are good at. Just step in and do it and you will be surprised. The trick with how some sports help more than others is this: you lose weight when your cardiac level is between 60-80%. So try picking something like jogging or swimming as opposed to tennis, but remember, everything helps. Once you have a diet that is keeping you in shape while helping you lose weight and combine it with some good exercise, you are all set for a healthy weight-controlled life.
